Let's Get It On Like Donkey Kong!

You heard it, THE BLAINE ROWAN FAMILY REUNION IS BACK ON!!! Let's hear a big woot woot!! Here are the details:

When? July 28th - 30th, 2011
Where? Albion Campus Grove, Twin Falls, Idaho
Who? All of you's growing from the Blaine Rowan Family Tree
How Much? $800 per night
We'll divide that by family so the more of us that come, the cheaper it is for everyone. Therefore, convince your brothers, sisters, cousins, and/or kids to come!
What do I need to do to hold my spot? Send Cindy Smith a check for $25 so we can send in our deposit. Or, you can also give your deposit to Cindy at the Rowan Reunion at 7N Ranch on July 31st.

This reunion is TWO YEARS away, that’s plenty of time for everyone to clear your calendars, and should fall in between all sports. So please get a Big Red Marker and circle it on your calendars.

As mentioned before Albion Campus Grove has loads of activities to keep us busy and should be lots of fun. Not to mention its massive capacity to house all of us. Check out their website for more info: www.albioncampusgrove.com

Postponed

Unfortunately the Blaine Rowan Reunion scheduled for Sept 20th has been cancelled. We do not have enough family members interested in attending to make the reunion financial feasible. This is very disappointing, but we sincerely hope we can organize a reunion in the future with a lot more participants.

We need to know what everyone thinks about when and where we should have a reunion.

Should we hold the reunion during the summer of 2010?
Would you prefer June? July? August? September?
Should we hold the reunion at Albion Campus Grove? (If no, please offer alternative suggestions)
Are you willing to help share in the cost of the rental of Albion Campus Grove (or similar facility) and food costs?
Do you have any other suggestions or comments?

Now it’s time for the not so fun part but the very necessary part. We need MONEY!!! Here’s how things breakdown:

Please keep in mind that these due dates aren’t very far apart, if you’d rather just mail one check that would be great, but please mail it by August 6th. Please make checks payable to Cindy Smith (please email her if you need her address).

Important!!
If any of the above listed families wants to cancel your commitment to attend for any reason, please let one of the family contacts know ASAP!!! Obviously it will have the rest of us paying more so we need to know as soon as humanly possible if you aren’t going to be able to attend after all.

If you’re wishing the price could be cheaper, there is a way! We just need more families to attend! If we could get 20 families to attend (that’s only 8 more) the price would only be $100 per family! So get on the horn to your cousins, nieces, and nephews and get them to come to the reunion!

If you aren’t on the committed family member list but you’ve decided you’d like to attend, please email one of the family contacts ASAP and we will refigure the numbers for everyone.

Reunion Now Two Nights!

The reunion will now run from Friday, September 19th through Sunday September 21st! Albion Campus Grove requires a two night minimum so the fun just got extended! We assume most families will arrive sometime Friday night, we can have a day full of festivities on Saturday, then we can have a quick breakfast on Sunday morning before families get on the road. Update your calendars and we'll see y'all then!

The Reunion is Scheduled!

Yes, you heard it right, the Blaine Rowan Family Reunion has been scheduled! The reunion will be held Saturday, September 20th, 2008 in Albion, Idaho (near Rupert and Declo). We'll be staying at the fabulous Albion Campus Grove - ok, so we don't actually know if it's fabulous or not. We do know though that they specialize in hosting family reunions at this old college campus. They have massive sleeping accommodations, a private pool, tons of games and activities so it looks promising. You can find a link to their webpage to the right.

Here's what we need for the reunion - COMMITMENTS!!! That's right, we need people to attend! So talk to your family, write the date on your calendar, and let us know that you're coming.
